Top Psychic Terror Scenarios

The heads of the U.S. Intelligence Community are warning Congress: A terror attack in the U.S. is "certain" within months. We look at future scenarios generated using anomalous mental phenomena.

Updated. Note from the editor: This article was originally published on February 3, 2010, and reflects the situation at that time. When this article was first published, some of the predicted events, notably the use of mail bombs by al Qaeda in Yemen, had not yet taken place.

(STARpod.org) -- Since the original publication of this article, many real events have shadowed the predictions originally sourced from anomalous mental (psychic) phenomena. Recent psychic reports have been jumbled, largely due to the number of on-going plots around the planet, and off-target responses, such as the recent data suggestive of the attack against the US Embassy and NATO in Kabul, Afghanistan.

What follows is the original article, with new comments added inside of brackets:

In the shadow of recent warnings from the leaders of the United States Intelligence Community, including [then] CIA Director Leon Panetta and Director of Central Intelligence Dennis C. Blair, multiple 'psychic' sources using various forms of 'anomalous mental phenomena' have provided a disturbing palette of terror scenarios.

Leaders of the Intelligence Community reported to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence that another attack inside of the United States is "certain."

In the past year [2009], a select number of psychic sources have been surfing the leading edge of the recent wave of terror incidents.

Although information sourced from "anomalous mental phenomena," the Defense Intelligence Agency term for mentally obtained information, is very much a hit and miss affair, psychic information can be useful in generating threat scenarios: "active imagination" may not be actionable, but offers the potential benefit of intuitively uncovering threats that may otherwise have been overlooked by conventional methods.

[For an example of official psychic spy operations, see the DIA spy effort against the Russian stealth aircraft program.]

The events of September 11, 2001, are a case in point: U.S. government psychic sources warned of the use of airplanes as weapons of mass destruction against Washington D.C., beginning in late 1983. A few years later, additional details suggested there would be a massive simultaneous attack from the air against targets in New York City and Washington, including the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol Building or the White House. One source even reported that newspapers described the collapse of a building, following a large airborne object passing through the structure.

The above, found within documents released by the CIA, are in sharp contrast to official claims that no one could have imagined terrorists would use airplanes as missiles.

Recent terror events have inspired a great deal of new concerns.

KNOWING THE FUTURE: THE UFO SPY GAMES

Non-specific psychic alerts have included the Fort Hood shooting, and recent hotel bombings in Iraq, which was posted two days in advance on Twitter, by dream-psychic Chris Robinson.

[As always, a disclaimer: USM/AMP psychic sources are known to be wrong more often that they are correct. There is no explicit nor implicit endorsement of the accuracy of Unconventional Sources and Methods: Anomalous Mental Phenomena information by our authors, nor by STARstream Research. It is provided specifically for "threat scenario" development in the context of current events, as an aid to anticipate potentials for future outcomes.]

Although we are not at liberty to provide any specific details on other potential threats, where they may or may not be available, here are a few possibilities:

In the summer of 2009, psychic sources noted a change in strategy: new tactics were being prepared, to provide individuals the ability to make hit and run attacks with little or no warning. Within months, several plots, notably the alleged backpack bomb plot in New York City, seemed to confirm this prediction.

Hit and run tactics were also predicted to include paramilitary style shootings, as later occurred at Fort Hood.

Psychic data claimed these were not isolated incidents, but reflected a new tactic of loosely organized individual attacks.

After many weeks, the U.S. intelligence community and the White House came to the same conclusion.

Among many predictions made in early Fall 2009 [in an internal report titled OCTOBER RED]: highly advanced weapon systems are being test simulated by computer software; more sophisticated time delayed or remote controlled explosive devices; liquid filled explosives used to ignite a powdery substance (which was realized in the Christmas Day attack); the smuggling of common chemicals, one component at a time, by individuals, who later produce a weapon from mixing the components together; and a new threat to use biological agents.

World-wide, groups are becoming loosely organized, although differences of opinion still divide them concerning operational details: some seek immediate retribution, whereas others prefer to patiently develop deadlier means of inflicting massive damage.

Backpack bombs remain a popular option, within various plots to inflict localized attacks on foot, by bicycle, or in motorized vehicles using remote control. An enhanced version includes the use of multiple rapid sequence attacks to distract security forces from second or third wave penetration of heavily guarded secure locations.

A warning of an increasing threat to air travel appeared in the psychic data in late November, with recommendations to focus on "machine tests" to enhance security.

In the first few days of December, the psychic data noted information of new threats was being withheld from the public by government officials. The concerns were connected to large scale attacks included major metropolitan areas during peak "holiday traffic levels."

Comments included "air strikes" and "shock," "awesome," "crushing blow to defeat," concerning a pre-dawn air raid  -- later it was learned that the United States had been involved in supporting preemptive air strikes against suspected terror camps in Yemen. [It was later established that al Qaeda in Yemen had been the source of the Christmas Day bomb plot and later, the mail bomb plot of October 2010.]

In the UK, a prediction of failure or a possible attack against public rail transportation appears to have been partly correct, with unusual interruptions of train service.

Terror attempts have typically focused on New York City and Washington, D.C.

Psychic data suggests this may be changing, with other major metropolitan areas at risk for a surprise "bolt from the blue" attack. Among the communities considered at risk: Detroit, Michigan, the location of the Christmas Day bomb attempt on Flight 253.

High profile business and banking industry targets, including Wall Street, are considered to be more attractive given the recent economic instability. Targets may include highly placed individuals as well as institutions. Mail bombs remain a possibility. [Confirmation of this prediction was released into the mainstream media following the original publication of this article.]

What about the next 9/11?

Although a future massive attack seems a more distant possibility, it is worth considering where some of the risks lie. Past experience also suggests psychic sources may confuse real events with existing threat scenarios, or even popular film and television stories.

A river has been associated with a massive urban plot to detonate multiple Oklahoma City sized truck bombs, perhaps concealed on rail cars, sending billowing black toxic fumes above the skyline of a major metropolitan center.

At risk: subway systems, tunnels, and river crossings.

Another threat may return: the use of airplanes as weapons of mass destruction. Recently a warning was allegedly passed from India's intelligence service to the United Kingdom: possible targets may include landmark historic buildings in London.

In addition to multiple massive truck-sized bombs against a major urban center, there may be a new variation on the 2007 plot to destroy JFK airport: a "Mubai-style" no-hostages taken paramilitary suicide assault on airport facilities, including massive destruction of fully fueled aircraft on the ground. [Concerns about a Mumbai-style attack were reported in the mainstream media following the original publication of this article.]

The risk of a terror group smuggling stolen weapons of mass destruction into the United States is real.

A nuclear bomb detonation at the twin ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, California, was the subject of a Rand study a few years ago.

Concerns remain about the ability of detection equipment and personnel to prevent the entry of weapons of mass destruction into the United States, concealed in a shipping container.

A recent assessment of the threat posed by weapons of mass destruction concluded the most likely attack involves the use of biological weapons.

Recent psychic data, associated with the Christmas Day attempt, also identified biological weapons as a real but non-specific threat of immediate concern across the intelligence community.

Days after the Christmas Day attack, President Obama signed an Executive Order to utilize the Postal Service in the event of a biological attack.

The real-life business of the government's X-files remains hidden in plain sight. The government claims "we can neither confirm nor deny" that documents exist showing extraterrestrial objects have been tracked as they enter the Earth's air space. Meanwhile a handful of very high ranking intelligence officials play out spy games on the Internet about reverse engineering alien technology and a former CIA Deputy Director for Intelligence is implicated in the sordid affair.

This is a record of SPY GAMES -- PLAYED INSIDE THE UFO MYSTERY, AND ON THE INTERNET -- as it happened.

From the world of psychic spies, paranormal goat killers, and Skinwalkers haunting remote regions of Utah, something wicked and wacky this way comes. Drawn from the files of the private intelligence source STARstream Research: A real-life tall-tale of espionage. At the core, a confrontation at CIA HQ between a former CIA official and officers of the United States Air Force. Twenty years later, the game continues where disturbing worlds collide. The heart of the matter: a US Government UFO Working Group, dark secrets kept in the shadows under the guise of counter-intelligence operations of the United States Air Force, and decades-old rumors of extraterrestrial contact with "something not of this world." The Official's concern: hidden within tales of "Real Life X-Files" a potentially dangerous viral marketing scheme, possibly intended to elicit real classified information from past and present intelligence officers.

Stranger still, government files prove that the US government spent decades exploring the paranormal psychic spying, in an effort to "know the future" and beat the Russians, in a race to obtain technologies from beyond our world.

This book is a collection of articles and materials originally published on-line by STARstream Research, PR Web, and The American Chronicle, and at the "Spies, Lies, and Polygraph Tape" blog. This is the first time they have been made available in print. Included in this volume is the popular article "To the Moon and Back, With Love," the story of CIA psychic Ingo Swann's extraterrestrial encounters.

Also included in this volume: The sixteen part mini-book "Knowing the Future: CIA, 9/11, UFOs, and the Extraterrestrial Presence," about the race to obtain "alien" technologies.
