But is this the ultimate in protection against alien transmissions?

The tin foil hat crowd might be interested to learn that their crazy ideas have been the subject of serious research inside the industrial military complex.

Mind-to-mind communication, popularly known as telepathy, is no longer just a staple of science fiction.

Early efforts to apply psychic abilities for communication proved to be somewhat successful.

Investigations of telepathic communication by the US government have ranged from psychic to psychic signals (between land and submarine, in one experiment) to the latest technologically based mind-reading machines using fMRI and computer analysis.

One well-placed expert previously advised STARstream Research on the reality of mind-to-mind communication: "I take the reality of telepathy as proven."

A science team run by Bob Bigelow's National Institute of Discovery Sciences (NIDS) in the mid 1990s encountered an "alien presence" at Utah's infamous 'haunted' Skinwalker Ranch.

A NIDS scientist confirmed to STARstream Research that one of the physicists on the project was frozen in place by a 'telepathic' warning.

"There were multiple voices that spoke together in unison telepathically...The voices were monotone males with a very terse, threatening tone."

Opinions vary regarding the source of the unusual phenomena encountered at the Skinwalker Ranch.

One source suggested deep black budget military technology might be at play, using secret technology fifty years ahead of current open source information on brain science. It has been widely reported that sound may be targeted to appear to be heard inside of a victims head.

Some sources seem content to accept the extraterrestrial hypothesis: the phenomena suggests active involvement by an  intelligence outside of human knowledge.

Others point to metaphysical explanations which lie beyond scientific reasoning.
