EDITORS NOTE: This was the first in a series of quasi-investigative articles published by STARpod.org that developed from the testimony of Ivy Linn (aka Ki' Lia), Laura Bradshaw Eisenhower Mahon, the great-granddaughter of US President Dwight D. Eisenhower, aerospace entrepreneur Richard Dell, Jr. -- and a large volume of confidential files held by STARstream Research, which included material forwarded to us by our key source Caryn Anscomb in 2006 and 2007. Although a great deal of information was later released in a series of stories about the "Mars Mission Affair" (as it has come to be known here at SSR), this article sets up important background information for the series. At issue: were US government agents involved in setting up Laura Eisenhower and Richard Dell, Jr. over Mr. Dell's interests in alternative energy? What is the connection between Dell and John L. Petersen's associates (The Arlington Institute think-tank, and scientists Dr. Hal Puthoff and Dr. Kit Green) who are former CIA officials? One question that remains: is there a connection to the Mars Mission Affair and the recent revelation that senior NSA official Tom Drake, who was working with so-called psychic spies, and allegedly in association with The Arlington Institute, following 9/11?

(STARpod.org) -- This is a developing story and will be updated following a review of our document archive and consultations with our key sources.

UPDATE: Review of the following information leads to disclosure article.

Background:

In an article published by Examiner.com, and in posts published at several web sites, a person who claims to be Laura Magdalene Eisenhower, the great-granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, has been promoting an outlandish claim about a super-secret private effort to build a permanent outpost on Mars.

Although the story was initially dismissed due to the outlandish claims and further embellishment cloaked in new age concepts, background research dating to 2006 appears to confirm at least some of the more down-to-earth details provided by Ms. Eisenhower.

In the web posting of her account of events, Ms. Eisenhower claims that in April 2006, she had been approached by "a man who we are calling Agent X."

According to Ms. Eisenhower, following an engagement in June of the same year, "Agent X" "started to reveal things to me about this group he goes to who are quite psychic and deal with alien abduction related things. He himself had witnessed something truly bizarre with an animal skinned, that had all the blood sucked out and that the radiation or energy around this really affected his health for a long time."

The intriguing details behind this story involve contacts with persons know to be involved in US government intelligence activities.

STARstream Research will continue to investigate and this story will be updated based upon editorial decisions I make regarding confidential information already on file.

Susan Eisenhower answers questions about the Eisenhower family at her website here. Based upon Ms. Eisenhower's account, Susan would be her mother. She identifies her three children, including Laura, and mentions twin grandchildren, which is consistent with Ms. Eisenhower's account. Ms. Eisenhower mentions that she "had given birth to twin sons" in her on-line statement.

Ms. Eisenhower's associate, Ki' Lia, provided a corroborative account at her own website here.

The ExopoliticsRadio.org interview is here.

Update:

I contacted Laura, who did confirm to me by email that Susan Eisenhower is her mother.

Susan Eisenhower was recently appointed to Energy Secretary Steven Chu's  Blue Ribbon Commission on America's Nuclear Future, which places her at the cutting edge of American energy politics. The commission is headed by Lee Hamilton and Brent Scowcroft.

Last year Susan Eisenhower met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow, where she represented a bi-partisan commission of the United States government.

It is generally accepted by the aerospace community that a practical mission to Mars will require new and far more powerful rocket technologies. Recently, Space.com ran a story about how a nuclear powered rocket could reach Mars in 40 days.

A source on background advised STARstream Research about a breakthrough technology expected to shorten the above mentioned trip time, possibly by more than fifty percent. The power source for this device was also nuclear, based upon open source information originally provided on the Internet concerning privately funded advanced aerospace technology. Examples of private space exploration initiatives include Google's Lunar X competition and Bigelow Aerospace. The information about advanced nuclear rocket technology was also a topic at the STAIF conferences.

Information provided to STARstream Research in 2006 and 2007 specifically identified 2012 as the target date for establishing a Martian outpost. Although this seems highly unrealistic, and the initial funding amount of 200 million US dollars seems far too low for a realizable Mars mission, it is possible the amount  was intended to fund research to solve the various problems required to proceed on a more realistic mission in the future.

Some citizen journalists, notably Ryan Dube and Stephen Broadbent at Reality Uncovered, have been promoting conspiracy theories that some of the aerospace alternative energy and propulsion fund-raising is intended to bilk investors out of millions of dollars.

A source to STARstream Research admitted an attempted recruitment by American intelligence operatives from Fort Meade concerning STAIF.

Fort Meade is the home of the National Security Agency and INSCOM, the Army's intelligence command unit. The recruitment was allegedly scrubbed when the journalist effectively blew the cover story by failing to follow security protocols.

Ms. Eisenhower did confirm to me by email that "Agent X" was a member of the AVIARY, the now infamous group of former spooks and their associates, know for their interests in UFOs, psychic spies, and reverse engineered extraterrestrial technologies.

A key investigative source and contributor to STARstream Research met with Agent X on several occasions in 2006 and 2007. Communications between our key source, STARstream Research, and Agent X, were widely shared at that time.

This article will be updated following further review and consultation with sources.

Knowing the Future
THE UFO SPY GAMES

CIA, 9/11, UFOs, and the Extraterrestrial Presence

The real-life business of the government's X-files remains hidden in plain sight. The government claims "we can neither confirm nor deny" that documents exist showing extraterrestrial objects have been tracked as they enter the Earth's air space. Meanwhile a handful of very high ranking intelligence officials play out spy games on the Internet about reverse engineering alien technology and a former CIA Deputy Director for Intelligence is implicated in the sordid affair.

The core of this story involves high level government intelligence persons and SERPO, a "soap opera" about US government contact with an extraterrestrial alien intelligence.

This is a record of SPY GAMES -- PLAYED INSIDE THE UFO MYSTERY, AND ON THE INTERNET -- as it happened.

From the world of psychic spies, paranormal goat killers, and Skinwalkers haunting remote regions of Utah, something wicked and wacky this way comes. Drawn from the files of the private intelligence source STARstream Research: A real-life tall-tale of espionage. At the core, a confrontation at CIA HQ between a former CIA official and officers of the United States Air Force. Twenty years later, the game continues where disturbing worlds collide. The heart of the matter: a US Government UFO Working Group, dark secrets kept in the shadows under the guise of counter-intelligence operations of the United States Air Force, and decades-old rumors of extraterrestrial contact with "something not of this world." The Official's concern: hidden within tales of "Real Life X-Files" a potentially dangerous viral marketing scheme, possibly intended to elicit real classified information from past and present intelligence officers.

Stranger still, government files prove that the US government spent decades exploring the paranormal psychic spying, in an effort to "know the future" and beat the Russians, in a race to obtain technologies from beyond our world.

This book is a collection of articles and materials originally published on-line by STARstream Research, PR Web, and The American Chronicle, and at the "Spies, Lies, and Polygraph Tape" blog. This is the first time they have been made available in print. Included in this volume is the popular article "To the Moon and Back, With Love," the story of CIA psychic Ingo Swann's extraterrestrial encounters.

Also included in this volume: The sixteen part mini-book "Knowing the Future: CIA, 9/11, UFOs, and the Extraterrestrial Presence," about the race to obtain "alien" technologies.
