All Our Favorite Martians: The Secret Mars Mission Affair

Andrew D. Basiago claims to be one of America’s early time-space explorers. What is the ground truth reality behind the alleged Laura Eisenhower Mars Mission Affair?

(STARpod.org) -- The Martians have returned, or so goes the claim.

According to the Coast to Coast AM website, "Part of DARPA’s Project Pegasus as a young child and now a practicing attorney, Andrew D. Basiago claims to be one of America’s early time-space explorers. He'll be joined by Brett Stillings and Laura Eisenhower, who'll describe their experiences visiting the surface of Mars and with time travel research by the US government."

According to Andrew Basiago, the U.S. government has been very busy teleporting human beings to the planet Mars.

Now, the last time I checked, human beings do not yet possess a working teleportation technology, let alone time travel technology, virtual or otherwise (if that's even possible in practice)  -- at least, not outside of Hollywood -- making any such claims, in spite of rudimentary theoretical advances, not even wrong.

Of course, we might at the very least entertain the possibility of reverse engineered extraterrestrial technology, assuming that somehow the U.S. government was able to obtain devices that originated from beyond the Earth, and then, by some miracle, actually learn how to use them.

And to keep the deep secret locked up for decades.

Some, including Apollo astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon, believe the government has done exactly that.

When I asked Mitchell about the possibility of extraterrestrial visitors, he told me, "I know of quite a few credible stories of ET communication with earthlings. I suspect they are walking among us."

All of this is, at face value, highly unlikely. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

On the other hand, human beings do possess the (currently) best know reality-simulator -- the human mind -- capable of creating virtual experiences virtually indistinguishable from reality.

Today, the ever-increasing communicative power of the Internet allows virtual realities to virally spread and multiple across a wide segment of the population.

Here (at STARpod.org) we are interested in the ground truth reality underscoring the 'psyche leaks' penetrating into human consciousness.

Having spent the better part of the past sixteen or so years investigating real developments in the theoretical arena related to future technologies, ranging from antigravity and teleportation to the quantum mind, I have yet to uncover any substantial evidence to support the  covert use of 'off-world' technology.

There is, however, some evidence for the extraordinary power of the human mind. And there is a substantial number of very-real once-classified documents supporting government interest in everything from flying saucers (including senior CIA briefings for the U.S. President) to the use of paranormal phenomena by the CIA and other intelligence agencies, since the early 1950s.

As previously reported, there is indeed a ground truth element to the Mars Mission story as told by Laura Eisenhower, the great-granddaughter of U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

However, that reality, as best as can be discerned, concerns smoke and mirror cover for cloak and dagger delusions that are, apparently, connected to real persons with real connections to U.S. intelligence services, including the CIA, the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, and the National Security Agency.

The background behind the Mars Mission Affair is admittedly murky, but the threads do appear to converge at the point where the U.S. government's STAR GATE paranormal program ended, in the mid-1990s. Among the various connections are odd claims of extraterrestrial alien contact made by former CIA man and current Defense Intelligence Agency consultant Dr. Christopher (Kit) Green, in Mark Pilkington's book, Mirage Men; former senior NSA official Tom Drake's relationship with Britain's dream psychic Christopher Robinson; and a decade old effort by Silicon Valley entrepreneur Joe Firmage to reverse engineer alleged alien technology. Curiously all of this followed shortly after a Congressional mandate to interact with paranormal scientists from the Former Soviet Union, many who were involved in Firmage's attempt to GRASP alien technology.

And as far as I am able to ascertain, the most real-world aspect of the Mars Mission Affair concerns the development of newly envisioned nuclear rocket designs intended to launch private American enterprise out of orbit and eventually to the surface of Mars, a topic clearly of interest to foreign intelligence services. And thus, we suspect, making those involved in the Mars Mission Affair persons of interest to the greater intelligence community.
