(STARpod.org) -- It took nearly twenty years, but Dan Throop Smith, son of the Harvard economist and Eisenhower Tax Advisor, and descendent of the founders of Throop Polytechnic (today's CalTech), finally exposed his good friend from the CIA over the national airwaves.

During the second half of Sunday night's Coast to Coast AM, hosted by George Knapp, Smith presented his case for CIA involvement in the disclosure of a "disturbing secret" about extraterrestrial visitors and paranormal phenomena.

Ron Pandolfi, who has been associated with the CIA, the DIA, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (according to sources that include the New York Times, the Congressional Research Service, and defense contractor MITRE Corporation), was conveniently out of the country as Dan proceeded to explain why his friend was the government's exorcist.

Why would the government need an exorcist?

I suspect the truth is more subtle than Dan's hypothesis of a vast, cosmic conspiracy involving GOD, Dan's personal role in the creation, the explosion in Information Technology, and the CIA.

Reading between the lines of a declassified CIA memorandum reveals that foreign governments have been busy developing paranormal phenomena and alternative physics, and they continue to do so.

Here is the fine distinction: at one time the American Central Intelligence Agency was apparently expending resources to covertly develop foreign sources. When CIA decided to end CIA and DIA involvement with America's paranormal government, they recommended continued monitoring of foreign research by way of open sources. In other words, anyone who was involved in dealing with foreigners interested in the paranormal would continue to be a person of interest.

According to Dan Smith, his association with CIA's Pandolfi began in the early 1990s, shortly after he had been pursuing foreign sources in the United Kingdom, with US paranormalist Rosemary Ellen Guiley.

Pandolfi would later appear associated with a wide spectrum of paranormal and alternative topics, ranging from UFO disclosure spearheaded by Laurance Rockefeller, paranormal investigations by Bob Bigelow of Bigelow Aerospace, reverse engineering of alleged 'extraterrestrial technologies' by US Web CEO Joe Firmage, and recent Chinese-American joint research efforts involving gravity wave physics.

Where Dan Smith sees a vast, cosmic conspiracy, I see intelligence sources and methods at work.

The larger question involves Pandolfi's motives and methods: why has he knowingly continued to release information through Dan Smith, for nearly two decades?

Here is what I think (Dan has other ideas):

Information Technology, in the form of the Internet, has had a major impact on the world wide intelligence community.

Indeed, many of Pandolfi's former colleagues from the CIA, including the former chair of the CIA National Intelligence Council, John Gannon, and the former head of the Science and Technology Division, and founder of the IN-Q-TEL concept, Ruth David, now work for private intelligence firms, in addition to their work as government consultants.

Pandolfi became a known quantity to the world wide web following a series of expose' articles by the New York Times. By associating himself with Dan Smith, Pandolfi was able to develop an 'implausible and deniable' means of injecting information onto the Internet. Once released, the information was easily tracked: Persons of interest could be monitored, and when, as was often the case, they interacted with foreign nationals concerning topics of interest to Pandolfi, they could exploited for passive intelligence collection.

It was Ron Pandolfi, in a private communication to me, several years ago, who cited personal and national security, as well as sources and methods, as the basis for his concerns about the UFO Spy Games.

In recent years, the over-exposure of Pandolfi's source and methods appears to have redirected his interests away from the alternative science and technology sector.

Nevertheless, Dan Smith has found the entire affair beneficial for promoting his personal agenda and belief.

Even if I am correct about Pandolfi's motivations and methods, there is little doubt of official interest by members of the US government in the exploitation of alternative sciences and the paranormal. Sources have alleged an on-going paranormal research effort at the National Security Agency.

CIA, 9/11, UFOs, and the Extraterrestrial Presence

Kindle Edition $2.99
Print Edition Retail Price $6.95 USD

The real-life business of the government's X-files remains hidden in plain sight. The government claims "we can neither confirm nor deny" that documents exist showing extraterrestrial objects have been tracked as they enter the Earth's air space. Meanwhile a handful of very high ranking intelligence officials play out spy games on the Internet about reverse engineering alien technology and a former CIA Deputy Director for Intelligence is implicated in the sordid affair.

The core of this story involves high level government intelligence persons and SERPO, a "soap opera" about US government contact with an extraterrestrial alien intelligence.

His name is Ingo Swann. In the 1970s, he was one of America's secret weapons brought to bear against the Soviet Union: a psychic spy, personally tested by the CIA. In the 1980s, Swann held a TOP SECRET clearance, and was instrumental in training Army and Defense Intelligence Agency personnel. Swann's psychic methods were a key component in the mind-war arsenal of the USAF, the Army, the Navy, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and many others, hidden deep inside compartments of the government.

A few years later Swann wrote one of the most bizarre accounts in the history of the paranormal was effort, now documented by CIA sanctioned release of the once super-secret programs known as STAR GATE. According to Swann, a super-secret group led by a mysterious "Mr. Axelrod" (his real name remains a closely held secret) put him mind-to-mind and face-to-face against an extraterrestrial avatar in human form.

The story of extraterrestrial human-mind to alien-mind telepathy, dangerous personal encounters, and a near-death experience of coming under laser fire from an extraterrestrial vehicle somewhere in the northern wilderness of Alaska, sounds like pages torn from a science fiction novel.

This is a record of SPY GAMES -- PLAYED INSIDE THE UFO MYSTERY, AND ON THE INTERNET -- as it happened.

From the world of psychic spies, paranormal goat killers, and Skinwalkers haunting remote regions of Utah, something wicked and wacky this way comes. Drawn from the files of the private intelligence source STARstream Research: A real-life tall-tale of espionage. At the core, a confrontation at CIA HQ between a former CIA official and officers of the United States Air Force. Twenty years later, the game continues where disturbing worlds collide. The heart of the matter: a US Government UFO Working Group, dark secrets kept in the shadows under the guise of counter-intelligence operations of the United States Air Force, and decades-old rumors of extraterrestrial contact with "something not of this world." The Official's concern: hidden within tales of "Real Life X-Files" a potentially dangerous viral marketing scheme, possibly intended to elicit real classified information from past and present intelligence officers.

Stranger still, government files prove that the US government spent decades exploring the paranormal psychic spying, in an effort to "know the future" and beat the Russians, in a race to obtain technologies from beyond our world.

This book is a collection of articles and materials originally published on-line by STARstream Research, PR Web, and The American Chronicle, and at the "Spies, Lies, and Polygraph Tape" blog. This is the first time they have been made available in print. Included in this volume is the popular article "To the Moon and Back, With Love," the story of CIA psychic Ingo Swann's extraterrestrial encounters.

Also included in this volume: The sixteen part mini-book "Knowing the Future: CIA, 9/11, UFOs, and the Extraterrestrial Presence," about the race to obtain "alien" technologies.
