In Search of Ron
"Uri," I
said, "please give me something to go
on. Please tell me one more thing." Uri
sighed. "Okay," he said. "I will tell
you one more thing only. The man who
reactivated me is . . ." Uri paused,
then he said, "called
Ron."

What we know about the CIA's chief
phenomenologist "Ron"
"Ron" worked as an analyst at CIA in the
1990's, as was reported in various newspapers, including the New York Times.
According to our Washington source, Ron's NIE (National Intelligence
Estimate) said there were "NO WMD's in Iraq" a month prior to the U.S. lead
invasion. Ron's report was rejected, so Ron changed jobs.
Ron sometimes uses a DIA military email address. Our source tells us that
Ron works with MASINT --
Measurement and Signatures Intelligence -- and reports to
Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte.
Ron has requested that he not be identified directly. We continue to honor
that request, and refer to Ron by the name given in Jon Ronson's book, "The Men
Who Stare at Goats."
Our London based source met with Ron and his wife.
