CIA, NSA, Extraterrestrial Aliens, and Persons of Interest

"If you can't track the phenomenon, you have to track the persons who interact with it."

(STARpod.org) -- I spent a large part of Monday afternoon and evening of March 22, 2010 on the phone with Dan T. Smith in Maryland, and Laura Magdalene Eisenhower in California.

Dan's father was President Eisenhower's Tax Advisor; Laura is President Eisenhower's great-granddaughter. 

Dan had recently returned from San Francisco, where he had been shooting videos with physicist Jack Sarfatti. [Jack Sarfatti is now deeply involved with the United States Government's DARPA 100 Year Starship Project.] Laura had been doing a series of Internet radio interviews about her encounters with a man she called "Agent X."

Dan reminded me again how his friend Ron from the CIA had told him the problem with anomalous phenomena is they remain elusive and undetectable (presumably this includes UFOs and other odd events).

If anyone should know about detecting "MAJIC" encounters of the close kind, it would be Dan's friend Ron Pandolfi: after tracking down leaks of American rocket science to China, he landed a job at Measurement and Signature Intelligence under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Flying saucers cruising over Washington D.C. should beware: Ron Pandolfi and his crew at MASINT have been checking into alleged extraterrestrial methods, like the use of gravity waves for radio.

Meanwhile, we have, according to Ron's buddy Dan, a "phenomenology problem."

The government tends to keep these kind of events quietly locked away under a lid of compartmentalized special access. This means your TOP SECRET clearance or even your executive position in the government does not give you access to the dark secrets.

KNOWING THE FUTURE: THE UFO SPY GAMES

The inability of senior officials to find out what might really be going on has led to a shadow web spun from rumors and tales of otherworld beings interacting with their human hosts. This is sometimes referred to as the US Government's CORE STORY.

No one has provided us with a definitive explanation of what is being hosted. For all we know, the guests may have arrived unannounced and simply moved into their new residence.

It is also unclear if the alleged residence is a physical location or only exists inside the minds of senior government personnel.

Dan and I did discuss this issue in the context of alleged debriefings of former astronauts and Presidents of the United States by a mutual associate, Dr. Christopher Kit Green, who continues to consult to the US government.

This is, of course, a very sensitive subject: perhaps even more for those facing the wrong end of America's nuclear arsenal.

And I must remind everyone our discussion was purely speculative in nature.

The topics that led to this discussion revolved around the allegations made by Ms. Laura Magdalene Eisenhower concerning her perceptions of recruitment by agents of an unknown purpose. According to Laura Eisenhower, a deep black-ops group was attempting to recruit her into an super-secret mission to build a permanent human colony on the Red Planet by the Apocalyptic year of danger, 2012. The real connections to Ms. Eisenhower's story are intriguing, and connect to alternative energy companies and private space travel efforts, as well as known spooks from US intelligence agencies.

The thread that potentially winds through these esoteric topics is the possibility of a new, classified US government phenomena unit.

The existence of multiple government weird phenomena units is a fact emerging from the forced declassification of older government documents. Now that the existence of the older programs is no longer a matter of speculation (for years many journalists, including Jack Anderson at the Washington Post had written about the programs before they had been officially revealed), we are free to ponder the possibility of new efforts to collect information concerning persons of interest.

In my book, Spies, Lies, and Polygraph Tape, I have suggested the statement of Uri Geller to Jon Ronson in London -- made mere weeks after 9/11 -- points to a renewed attempt to put unexplained phenomena to good use by the Intelligence Community. New revelations made by another UK psychic -- Chris Robinson -- and later confirmed by well placed sources, point to a post-9/11 NSA-based paranormal psychic project, among other privately sponsored efforts. Robinson had been working with NSA official Tom Drake until Drake was forced out of NSA over his whistle-blowing on NSA mismanagement.

To guide us on our journey into this imaginative world, where CIA officers handle UFO contactees and NSA officials recruit psychic spies, is the historical record. Here at STARstream Research, we have collected over 90,000 pages of official US government files related to the paranormal, and several hundreds of pages related to similar efforts by the British government.

When I pointed out a past example of a plan for CIA to represent themselves as officials from the National Institute of Health to Uri Geller, I was reminded (by an unnamed but well positioned source on background) of the need for national security, honorable men and legal cover stories.

The post 9/11 climate of ever-increasing danger leads me to believe that today's domestic collection by the Intelligence Community includes cover stories, cut-outs, back channel sources, Internet forums and blogs, and other more subtle tricks and treats of the spy tradecraft.

I currently remain an agnostic concerning the alleged use of hypnotic suggestion delivered by telephone calls. There is, in any event, a small sample of older documents at the CIA's reading room concerning the use of hypnosis to trigger an individual to take a specific action.

This seems reasonable if there is any concern -- private or covert and official -- about a real phenomena affecting members of the population at large.

All of this brings us back to Dan and Laura, and their personally held belief they have handlers in the intelligence community.

According to Dan Smith, his buddy Ron has now expressed at least minor interest in Laura's story.

As a CIA analyst, Ron was concerned about rocket technology leaks to foreign governments. It is well known that foreign governments are operating agents in the United States to learn more about our new technologies. The mission to Mars documents I had seen, which are related to Laura's story, involved revolutionary new nuclear powered rocket engines. One company, Ad Astra Rocket Company of Texas (in a curious coincidence, AARC shares an acronym with the concept papers I have on file) is promoting a 39 day trip to Mars at their website.

I am reminded of one thing: whether or not  Dan and Laura are right or wrong about this, the alleged phenomenology problem will remain a closely held secret, requiring layers of plausible deniability.
